Acoustics

We can carry out measurements on signaling devices for example for type examinations according to IEC 60945.

Our EMC absorber hall has been acoustically measured. As a highly absorptive anechoic half-space, it is therefore ideally suited for simple sound pressure level measurements. Some measurements on signaling devices can also be carried out in our environmental simulation laboratory.

This enables us to handle complete test programs for you, for example for type examinations according to IEC 60945.

The standards and procedures in this area include the following:

  • DIN EN 60945 Sound and signals (all device classes that are intended for installation in bridges and bridge wings)
  • DNVGL-CG-0339 Acoustic noise and alarm signal levels for equipment installed on the bridge
  • MIL-STD-740-1 Airborne Sound Measurements
  • MIL-STD-740-2 Structure-borne Vibratory Acceleration Measurements
